Bio

 

What started as a mere music writing project in 2020 has evolved into a high energy performing band that's lyrics reflect deep introspective that come along with the pain and the healing of our daily lives.

CHRIS DOWNING

-Lead Guitars-

Chris started playing guitars in 1997 when he was on his last year of being in UNMC, when his roommate showed him the ropes of the power chords. He was hooked. Chris is inspired by ambient music, post rock, and progressive styles. Chris is the founding member whos style and talent had inspired the music scene around him to collaborate to create this band.

KATE PROKOP

- Vocals -

Kate has been a part of the Omaha music scene with award winning bands like "Through the Stone" and "Beast Eagle", whos talents has been recognized by the the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards (OEAA) for multiple years.

ALEXANDER HAMILTON

-Keys and programming-

Alexander has been composing as a default since 2nd grade. He has always been dissecting what makes music good. His music passions include Depeche Mode, Owl City, Manheim Steamroller, and Enya. He has played for heavy metal bands, and continues to compose movie soundtracks.

TOBY WANDEL

- Bass Guitar - 

Been playing music since 13. Mostly metal and experimental heavy rock. Been playing in the music scene since 15. I’m a horror nerd that writes short stories and screen plays.

RYAN HANSEN

- Drums - 

Ryan started music in the 5th grade on Trumpet, although his passions called him to the drums.  His beat leans towards hard rock and metal, but this band calls him back home. Wants to eventually be introduced with the song,  "Abacab" by Genesis. Hell, who wouldn't?

JESSE OTTERSON

- Texture and percussion-

Jesse is a multi instrumentalist who started playing viola at age 10, and bass guitar at age 16. Jesse has eclectic tastes and varies based on who I'm playing with, but more comes out grunge/noise rock than other styles. He has 24 years in the music scene. Jesse once worked security for Kevin Bacon, which by the loosest definition of 'working with' would make him 1 degree of Kevin Bacon.
